In the international bestseller REAL, the unstoppable bad boy of the Underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington “Remy” Tate as vital as the air he breathes . . . and now he can’t live without her.
Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman’s dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when they need each other the most, Brooke is torn away from the ringside. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls MINE.

Remington Tate, sigh. What are we to do with this man? He is so much more than he thinks he is and that is evident in every single one of his actions throughout MINE. He constantly puts his happiness on the back burner for the people he loves. It makes it near impossible not to love every sexy inch of him, even his "dark side". Which, by the way, we get to see a lot more of in MINE too. I really feel like I get the severity of his issues now (being vague for those who are reading this and haven't read REAL, which they should do now, because OMG that book!) His highs are higher his lows are lower, but I think his dear sweet Brooke is actually starting to level him out.
Talk about Brooke, she frustrated me a lot this time around. Her life is turned totally upside down but I really never felt like she took control of the situation or owned what was going on. But she loves Remy something fierce so I'll forgive her, for now.
I did have a few issues, but nothing so big that it would ever make me tell someone not to read MINE, especially because I loved it. The issues were mostly things at the end that I obviously can't discuss here because, well, they are at the end, and it was just a topic very personal to me that I felt needed a little more... authenticity and possibly elaboration.
I cannot wait for the release of REMY at the end of this month. I just hope my girly bits can handle being inside Riptide's head.
